除了“六一”国际儿童节之外，还有联合国教科文组织发起的“儿童节”——11月20日的国际儿童日（UniversalChildrensDay）。

既然今天是儿童节，那么我们先来学习一些跟儿童（child）有关的单词吧。

childn.儿童，小孩例如：childabuse（虐待儿童），childlabour（童工）

children：children是child的复数形式。例如：childrensplayground（儿童乐园）

childishadj.

①孩子气的，孩子所特有的eg：Thelittlegirlspokeinahighchildishvoice.这个小女孩用尖尖的童声讲话。

②幼稚的，傻气的eg：Cryingforthingsyoucanthaveischildish.想要的东西得不到就哭是孩子气的表现。

childlikeadj.天真的;童稚的;孩子般的例如：Thoughnearlyattheageoffifty,hestillretainschildlikeinnocence.　他虽年近半百，但仍童心未泯。

childhoodn.童年，儿童时代例如：Theywerechildhoodsweethearts.他们原是青梅竹马的恋人。

childbearing/childbirthn.分娩，生孩子eg：Aperiodofacutedepressioncansometimesfollowchildbirth/childbearing.分娩之后可能会有一段时间的急性抑郁期。

国际儿童日是每年的11月20日，年的联合国大会上，这个节日的提出是为了推动所有国家都设立一个专门的日子来：首先，促进各国儿童之间的交流和沟通；其次，通过采取行动来提升各国儿童的福利。
